A Personal Note from the Creator/Founder

Growing up, I always felt a profound connection to nature. The swaying of the trees, the scent of the pines, and the serenity of the forest were my sanctuary. However, as life progressed, I found myself drifting away from these roots, entangled in the hustle and bustle of an everyday, “modern” existence.

This disconnection left a huge void, a yearning to return to the wild essence that once defined my life. Recognizing that many others felt the same pull; as if a piece of them were missing, I embarked on a journey to not only rediscover my own bond with nature, but to create a space where others; like you, could join in this reawakening.

Thus, Look Up Forest was born–a community dedicated to rekindling our innate connection to the natural world and to each other. It’s a haven for those seeking authenticity, adventure, and a deeper understanding of themselves through the embrace of the wild spaces.

Each story that has been shared with me through this movement reinforces the belief that rewilding isn’t just about returning to nature; it’s about returning to our true selves. I invite you to join us on this journey. Whether you’re taking your first step into the forest or you’re a seasoned wanderer, Look Up Forest welcomes you. Together, let’s break free from the confines and embrace the freedom and fulfillment that nature offers.

Some of What People Have Been Experiencing

I heard the message of “Look Up” and decided to try it out. One Saturday, I put all my focus on achieving a goal I wasn’t sure was possible. In an effort to create a “golden memory” day in my relationship that had been struggling. What happened that day was magic. Even in the depths of winter when I thought it might not work out, we found a deep connection through the experiences of animals, wind, and water. Since then, this connection has been growing inside of me and I’m learning more every day. I plan to continue this journey. Thank you for helping me open my mind and my heart.
